After his father was killed, Lieutenant Stephen J. McGarrett decides to return home to Oahu, to catch the killer. The governor offered him the chance to start a new task force, where he was able to call the shots. Steve combines his own team, starting with Chin Ho Kelly, an ex-Honolulu Police Detective, and former protégé of McGarrett’s father. Kelly was appointed a federal security patrol after being suspected of corruption. Detective Danny (Danno) Williams New Jersey police officer who recently moved to the island, to be closer to his daughter, who is 8 years old, Grace. Kelly’s cousin, Kona Kalakaua and official rookie, fresh out of the academy. McGarrett team provided full support to the governor.
